How Cow Testing Works

From blood collection to final report, our process makes cattle testing clear, convenient, and easy to manage.

Pregnancy Test

  • Cows — 28 days or more after breeding
  • Heifers — 25 days or more after breeding
  • Post-calving — At least 73 days

Johne's Disease Test

  • Age — 18 months or older

    Choose your test

    Select pregnancy testing, Johne's disease testing, or both. Multiple tests may be performed using the same eligible blood sample.

    Collect the right sample

    Collect at least 2 cc of whole blood in a red- or red-and-gray-top collection tube. Clearly label each tube with the animal's corresponding ID.

  3. / 03

    Submit your samples

    Package the labeled tubes securely and include a completed cattle blood sample submission form with animal IDs, breeding information, and requested tests.

  4. / 04

    Receive your results

    Results are returned in a practical format to help you identify open cattle, manage breeding schedules, monitor herd health, and make informed production decisions.
