How Horse Testing Works

    Choose your test

    Select sample submission only or an FEC kit with the shipping option that works best for you.

  2. / 02

    Collect a fresh sample

    Label the collection bag and collect a fresh manure sample soon after your horse passes it. Securely seal the bag and cool the sample—do not freeze it.

  3. / 03

    Submit your samples

    Include the sealed sample, completed equine FEC submission form, and a frozen cold pack. Package everything in the appropriate return mailer and send it to Precision Diagnostics.

  4. / 04

    Receive your results

    Your report provides the fecal egg count in eggs per gram, giving you and your veterinarian useful information for making informed deworming decisions.
